‘Golden Bachelor’ How Does Gerry Turner’s Dad Feel About Theresa Now?
Gerry Turner chose his woman on The Golden Bachelor, and he and Theresa Nist plan to wed in January. However, his dad rooted for Leslie Fhima. So, he wasn’t cheering from the rooftops when his son chose Theresa Nist as he didn’t like her. “Welcome to the family Theresa!” It sounds like a great start to a non-Happy Family situation.

Both Leslie and Theresa hit things off with the ABC lead. Leslie seemed bright and cheerful, and young at 64. Mind you, some fans thought that she might give him a heart attack in the bedroom. Everette’s son brought some extreme emotion to the new ABC show and he cried a lot because he was torn between Theresa, Faith Martin, and Leslie. Well, it seems that his dad wasn’t torn up at all. He knew who he wanted for his son.
Plenty of Bachelor Nation viewers wanted Gerry Turner to choose Leslie Fhima. Actually, her family also hoped for that. So when he chose Theresa, they bashed him for telling a 64-year-old that she was the one for him, when she wasn’t. Angry, they expressed their feelings about his lack of honesty.

The Golden Bachelor – Dad Everett Didn’t Take To Theresa Nist
The Sun reported that they spoke with Gerry’s dad, “Everett” who oh so casually claimed that Theresa “rubbed” him up “the wrong way.” Will they need to bring wild horses to drag him to the wedding? He said:
I had Leslie picked out. For some reason, I just didn’t care for Theresa. I was 60 percent for Leslie and 40 percent for Theresa. I couldn’t say why. Right off the bat, Theresa rubbed me the wrong way.

Gerry Turner’s dad then turned around and confessed that he’s “bound” to like her now as his son is tying the knot. Oh dear! Certainly, it sounds as if she and he will need to put in some work. Perhaps he felt a twinge of guilt for so publically expressing his dislike for Theresa. Flip-flopping, he added:
I like Theresa. There is not a problem with me not liking her.
Make up your mind already! Next, he ended with the age-old reality TV statement: “All I want is for him to be happy. Whatever he decides to do, I’ll back him 100%.”
