When Sister Wives began, the wives shared that they could tell something was up with Kody Brown. In polygamy, when a man acts off, the only solution is another wife. They had met Robyn Brown and Kody’s first wife, Meri Brown encouraged a meeting of the two. He really liked the divorced mother of three and would travel five hours to have dates. Ultimately, he proposed and she moved closer. It was clear by the kissing before marriage, him choosing her wedding dress, and the long honeymoon that she was different.
Former third wife Christine Brown recently shared that she noticed Kody was in love with Robyn early on. She even mentioned it to him. However, despite all of the extra attention he was spending with her and her kids, Robyn claims she had no idea he was solely in love with her until recently. A Reddit thread was started to address this as fans find it very hard to believe. The OP shared this thought:
- Are we really going to buy that? If Kody was head over heels in love with her and his relationships with his other wives were struggling, he would not ever tell her ‘you’re the love of my life’?? Really??
They also added that Robyn Brown was clearly covering for Kody and all of the extra attention he had given her. Additionally, they feel she always knew. So, did fellow Redditors agree?

The Downfall Of The Marriages
Kody Brown’s marriages to his other wives fell because he did not feel they were loyal. He has said on several seasons of Sister Wives that Robyn Brown was the only loyal wife. Yet, Meri Brown never left despite being told Kody was not interested in her any longer. Janelle Brown simply chose her children over a husband and Christine Brown would not be in an intimacy-free marriage. Now that she has found David Woolley, she truly understands what Kody and Robyn have. So, let them have it. However, fans feel there is no reason to deny or lie any longer.
