Golden Bachelor host Jesse Palmer shared on the live finale event that an announcement would be made that would be shocking. He also said that this finale would be truly emotional. Fans instantly started speculating about what Jesse could be talking about. Some thought perhaps an announcement would be made regarding The Golden Bachelorette.
However, as the show continued, fans saw Leslie be sent home by Gerry Turner after meeting his family. He ultimately decided that Theresa is the one he can’t live without. Fans saw Gerry propose to Theresa and she accepted.
On the live finale, he had to face Leslie for the first time since breaking her heart. Once that conversation was over, Jesse was ready to reunite the happily-engaged couple. However, first, he teased more about this special announcement.
Jesse said that his big announcement would change Bachelor Nation forever.

Jesse Palmer reunited the happy Golden Bachelor couple on stage. They shared how happy they were together and then Jesse shared that the show was gifting them a trip to Italy.
That part has happened before so not really shocking. However, what came next was the big news. Gerry said that he and Theresa could use the trip as a honeymoon.
Of course, this prompted Jesse to ask what he was talking about. He asked if they were planning to get married soon. He and Theresa said that they don’t want to waste any time.
So, the happy couple announced that they are getting married very quickly. Plus, Bachelor Nation will be there. There will be a Bachelor wedding event on January 4, 2024.
