Was Harry Jowsey’s elimination from Dancing With The Stars part of a greater conspiracy? That’s a question that many are wondering, including one DWTS executive staff member.
When Season 32 began, it became immediately clear that Harry Jowsey was not a naturally gifted dancer. However, he kept making it through to the next round week after week. It didn’t matter how low the judges scored Harry and his partner Rylee Arnold, they just kept continuing.
Now, there are rumors about a conspiracy following Harry and Rylee’s elimination during Taylor Swift Night. What exactly are people saying?
Harry Jowsey suffered the wrath of the Swifties
This season on Dancing With The Stars, fans vote more than ever before. For whatever reason, producers did away with the judges’ save this season. Judges’ scores factor into the equation, but it seems that fans’ votes count for quite a bit.
And that’s exactly what sparked rumors about a conspiracy involving the Taylor Swift Night elimination.

Heavy shares that ABC producer Robert Mills is curious about the Harry Jowsey conspiracy. He shared a screenshot from an entertainment article with the headline: “BAD BLOOD Taylor Swift fans vow to vote Harry Jowsey off DWTS after reality star ‘betrays’ singer on social media.”
I actually wonder if this is what happened. https://t.co/QCqBbaELFX

Although there is no official way to know whether or not the Swifties were behind Harry’s exit, there does seem to be some truth to the rumors. X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, lit up on Taylor Swift Night with calls to eliminate Harry Jowsey.
But what caused the beef in the first place?

According to social media, Taylor Swift fans believe that Harry Jowsey supports Scooter Braun. Braun’s feud with Taylor Swift goes back several years and is ultimately the reason she chose to rerecord all of her songs.

But on top of that, many audience members felt that Harry Jowsey’s chemistry with 18-year-old Rylee Arnold was inappropriate and uncomfortable. Although perfectly legal, she did just graduate from high school and turned 18 in June. Meanwhile, Harry was on a Netflix show, Too Hot To Handle, which centered around his lustful behavior.
Taylor Swift’s fans tend to show up in full force, and their numbers are strong. It really wouldn’t be a surprise to find out that their votes were responsible for Harry Jowsey’s elimination.
The show continues after the Netflix star’s exit
Regardless of what the audience thought, Harry and Rylee went on to spend the Thanksgiving holiday together. They seem determined to keep their friendship alive, even though their time in the ballroom together is over.
At the end of the day, Swifties and most other Dancing With The Stars fans seemed happy to see Harry leave. Now, the final five advance to the finale without him.
