Tyler Cameron Shares How ‘Special Forces’ Changed His Outlook
Tyler Cameron became well-known among Bachelorette fans because he lost Hannah Brown to Jed Wyatt. She dumped Jed, but they never really got back together as lovers. Tyler went on to date Gigi Hadid and other beauties. Incredibly good-looking, he seemed quite full of self-confidence. However, his experience in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test changed his outlook.
Tyler Cameron Chatted With Bachelorette Alum Hannah Brown
Hannah Brown went on to win Dancing with the Stars and crowned her glory by winning Season 1 of Special Forces. Talking about the competition, she described how incredibly grueling it was. Naturally, her ex, Tyler watched the show. And, he chatted with her about it. Still, he went into the competition thinking he could handle it. As fans have seen, it takes teamwork, and maybe without Jojo Siwa to help him, he might not have made it so far.
Tyler Cameron ended up filming Special Forces with Nick Viall, also from Bachelor Nation. If you don’t know, the two men clashed over Tyler dancing and playing around during the coronavirus. So, there was some bad feeling. However, the two men got over their differences when they both faced the hardest challenges ever. Hannah’s ex realized that teamwork is everything.

Tyler Cameron Changes His Outlook On Special Forces
Apart from clearing the air between the Bachelorette alum and Nick Viall, the Thirst Trap also learned a lot more respect for the military. Did you know that his brother, Austin serves in the military? Well, his big brother always respected that and after his mom. Andrea passed away, he helped to support his younger siblings. But, he now has a much higher regard for those who joined the service.
Ahead of the finale on Monday, Tyler Cameron spoke with People Magazine. He talked about how he really thought that some of the things he saw on Season 1 were edited for effect. However, he soon found out that it was the real deal. So, he had “really underestimated it.” As he had done it because he wanted to make his “brother proud,” he felt shocked to hear himself “complaining.”
Respect For The Military
The outlet cited Tyler Cameron as saying:
I’m complaining, but I know my brother Austin has to sit in a little sleeping bag for weeks in the miserable swamps of Louisiana for some of his training sometimes. I can get through this…And it was still incredibly challenging, incredibly tough. Just makes me admire and have so much more respect than I already [had]. I already respected him to a high amount… The veterans, what they’ve gone through. Truly, truly incredible and remarkable.
What are your thoughts about Tyler Cameron notching up his respect for the military and especially for his brother, Austin? Are you happy that the former Bachelorette contestant went into the tough competition cocky and too sure of himself, but learned some hard lessons?
Should all able-bodied reality TV stars try and get into Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test? Certainly, they all seem to come out of it with some deep insights into their own character. Let us know in the comments below.
