Travis Kelce Admits He Is Tormented By Old Tweets

Over the past week, Travis Kelce’s old tweets have made a strong comeback, and he truly wishes they hadn’t. Seemingly, Travis is getting tons of criticism for what he said in approximately 2009-2011. But Travis is reflecting on the often nonsensical messages he is seeing float around the Internet again. Unfortunately, it has been “torture” to face them in many ways.
Travis Kelce’s Tweets Are Making A Comeback
As the relationship with Taylor Swift keeps heating up, Travis Kelce is getting held to the fire for another reason. Last week, Swifties drug up some of Travis’ past. But the theme caught on quickly for many others as well. Surprisingly, the subject of Travis Kelce’s old tweets has circulated in many different outlets. For instance, Joy Behar from The View criticized the NFL player’s past and said he doesn’t deserve Taylor. Also, The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon, created a song comprised solely of some of Travis’ old posts. Notably, on the podcast, Travis recognized his effort saying, “That s— was good.” Even GQ gave a spotlight to the messages.

Travis Kelce Says What He Thinks About The Tweets
On Wednesday’s episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce addresses, “the biggest news from this past week.” Of course, he was referring to the resurfaced old tweets of his brother, Travis. Since the rest of the world is talking about it, they decided to face it head-on and on their terms. Furthermore, Jason says, “Let’s go back and read your tweets. What does Travis Kelce think?” In response, Travis laughs and says, “I was just using Twitter as a diary.” Admittedly, he says he was just saying nonsense and refers to the tweet about feeding a squirrel. Then he says, “I just spelled squirrel like a jacka**.” Jason points out, “Everybody hates their old tweets.”

He Is Feeling A Bit Tormented
While Travis Kelce is somewhat embarrassed, he points out the irony, “F–k. What’s hilarious is nobody followed me back then.” Reflecting, he says he’s, “been trying to get all those tweets deleted since” his pro-football career began in 2013. But Travis also confesses it has “tortured” him over the past week. “Sure enough, it came surface level,l and everybody f–king dove into 2011,” he comments. “What a f–king year that was. … What was I even f–king doing in some of these tweets?”
Travis Kelce Reveals His Favorite
After Jason poked fun at Travis Kelce for his creative spelling of “squirle,” Travis redirected to one of his favorite tweets. Saying, “The funniest one is this f–king teacher one, man. ‘sooo this teacher tried to call on me in class like i wasnt paying attention, well i was and i didnt fold under preasure [sic], DUB..’ I don’t remember this at all.”
Although Taylor Swift hasn’t given her thoughts on Travis Kelce’s tweets, her fans have. Many of them find them to be “wholesome” and “sweet.” One said, “This is such a funny wholesome thread lol he’s doing his best and I love it.”
