Is Meri Brown still contributing to the Brown family’s assets?
All season long, the Brown family has continuously put Meri down and treated her terribly. Yet at the time of filming, it seemed like she was still significantly contributing to the family’s assets. And that’s something that really doesn’t sit right with fans.
Over on Reddit, Sister Wives viewers made their feelings about the situation very clear. They can’t wait to see Meri put Kody and Robyn behind her and move on to better things.

SW fans are bewildered that Meri Brown still helps the family
Over the years, Sister Wives fans have watched the family breakdown season after season. Things between Kody and Meri Brown have been tense for years. But this season, the drama is going to an entirely different level.
Now, many viewers are shocked that Meri still admittedly contributes to the family’s finances.
“Meri clearly states she is still putting money into the family?? K & R? Unreal!” a Redditor shared on the platform this week. They attached a clip of Meri stating she still contributes to the family’s finances. As a result, she rightfully believes she deserves more say in dividing the property.
As of 2023, Sister Wives fans already know that Meri and Kody have gone their separate ways. But even so, it’s a little jarring for fans to see the breakup unfold onscreen. Many were surprised to hear Meri admit she still contributes to the family finances, especially after how poorly she’s been treated.
“Yes, I thought that was absolutely wild that she said she was still contributing to the family pod. And just before that she had said she hadn’t had any real kind of relationship with [Kody] for the past eight years,” someone else pointed out.
“How in the world can Krobyn justify taking the other wives’ money when they live in a mansion, have thousands of dollars worth of collectibles and crap, and Kody hasn’t paid attention to any of the other wives in years?” another Reddit user wrote. “What can the other wives possibly be contributing to? Are Meri and Janelle just helping pay off the land, or are they putting food on the table for the favored children?”
Money woes may be about to get much worse for the family
It’s no secret that the Browns have struggled with money issues in the past. Now that Meri, Janelle, and Christine have left the family, things for Kody and Robyn may end up getting much worse. Time will tell what life has in store for the Browns, even if they’re all separated now.
