The First Episode Is Called ‘Gone Fission’

The premiere episode of NCIS: Sydney is entitled “Gone Fission.” This episode will introduce CBS viewers to the team. Moreover, this premiere episode establishes the need for trust between Australian and American agents in the Indo-Pacific as they solve each case presented.

The team of U.S. NCIS agents and AFT (Australian Federal Police) are teamed up to work on solving naval crimes. They are going to have their hands full with a cornucopia of crimes and danger. However, NCIS agents do not have the same sort of freedom and power as they do back home.

That means everything must be done as a team. This could cause some unexpected obstacles and perhaps even frustration. But these agents are trained to overcome any challenge they face.

What happens in the introductory first episode? According to IMDb, this is the synopsis.

The death of an American seaman on a U.S. nuclear submarine during a ceremony on Sydney Harbour is investigated in a joint effort between America’s NCIS agents afloat and the Australian Federal Police.”
