When 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 2 wrapped up, Vannessa Cross continued to make grand strides toward her health and wellness goals. Unfortunately, she hadn’t quite qualified for skin removal surgery yet. Her healthcare team advised that it was better for her to continue losing so she wouldn’t end up stretching her skin back out later.
Although it was definitely disappointing news, Vannessa handled it well. On social media, she continuously updates fans about her goals. Now, fans think it’s high time Dr. Procter approved her for skin removal surgery.
“Now paging my favorite doctor! 😜🩺” Vannessa captioned her Instagram post. In the image, she’s posing with Dr. Procter and beaming from ear to ear. “It’s been almost 2 years since I had bariatric surgery and one of the most important things is maintaining a strong connection with your doctor….especially if he’s as fine as mine! 🤣”
“You go girl! You definitely inspire me because I had the same mentality as you had in the beginning & seeing you do it, I KNOW I can do it!❤️” one fan wrote on Vannessa’s post.
“Tell him it’s time for your skin surgery!” another Instagram user added. “It’s been over two years and you have more than proven that you’re going to keep it off. It is my hope that someone donates their services for whatever you need. You are an amazing person ♥️”
TLC could feature the surgery in a future season
So far, Vannessa Cross has largely stayed pretty quiet about the possibility of skin removal surgery. Every once in a while, she replies to fans’ comments and confirms she still hasn’t received the surgery yet.
If 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 3 happens, TLC would almost certainly want to use that as a storyline. When Vannessa does eventually qualify for skin removal surgery, she likely won’t be able to say much about it until the footage airs on TLC.
