My 600-lb Life alum Julian Valentine was already struggling in life by the time he sought Dr. Now’s help in Season 10. Aside from his weight, his family also struggled financially, leaving him with an unhealthy diet. He later worked as an electrician and was able to provide for his family, especially with food. However, it also became the turning point for him to gain weight. The Arizona native was 830 pounds when he appeared in the show. Fortunately, he found the determination to shed weight before it was too late. Keep reading to see what he’s up to today.
My 600-lb Life: Julian Valentine’s Weight Loss Journey
Julian had an impressive journey with Dr. Now. He was given a specific diet plan and lost 136 pounds in just five months, which qualified him for bariatric surgery. However, the My 600-lb Life alum regained most of the weight after facing struggles with food. Due to this, Dr. Now decided to give him another two months to lose weight. Fortunately, Julian was able to shed enough pounds and proceed with the operation. He was able to drop 190 pounds in 12 months, bringing him down to 640 lbs.
But his journey got much better after the show. He continues pursuing his physical goals and is looking unrecognizable today. Earlier this month, the former TLC star shared the stunning progress of his program. He also took to Facebook in October to share his massive weight loss. Dr. Now’s former patient has yet to share his current weight. But it’s clear that he’s determined to get himself back in shape.
