It Made Headlines A Month Ago
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kourtney Kardashian’s baby registry made headlines a month ago. This was before fans had any idea what she had listed on it. It was actually her mother Kris Jenner who took to social media to share that a baby registry was in the works. Shockingly Kris’ post was a paid promotion.
Overall, fans were disgusted by the greed of this family. On one hand, fans argued Kourtney Kardashian really didn’t NEED a baby registry. On the other hand, fans took issue with Kris making money off of Kourtney’s pregnancy.
Fans were stewing in frustration and they had no idea what was on the registry.
Kourtney Kardashian’s Baby Registry Leaked
According to The Sun, Kourtney’s mother Kris Jenner was recently spotted at Babylist Beverley Hills Showroom. She was shopping for items on Kourtney’s registry. Among the items Kourtney wanted included a $900 wooden bassinet with wheels. She also wanted a luxury stroller wagon for her little one that retailed for the same price as the bassinet, $900.
Shockingly, however, the bassinet and stroller were not the most expensive items on the registry. There was also a piece of furniture Kourtney Kardashian wanted for the nursery. She had her eyes on a swivel nursery recliner that came attached with a hefty price tag: $1,249.
Naturally, there were other items on the list including Mickey Mouse blankets, nursing bras, and a hands-free nursing pump. In total, the registry easily landed between $5K and $10K in baby merchandise.
Unnecessary Tradition?
Understandably, fans of The Kardashians have pretty mixed feelings about the baby registry. For starters, there are a lot of bassinets on the market that cost less than $900. Secondly, Kourtney has a net worth of $65M and Travis has a net worth of $50M. So, fans seriously question why they needed to make a baby registry for $10K worth of baby items.
Some fans, however, clarify it isn’t really about the money. Creating a baby registry and having a baby shower are traditions. These fans argue it is just part of the experience that Kourtney shouldn’t have to miss out on simply because she is rich.
