Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix is a fierce competitor on Dancing With The Stars this year. After suffering horrific heartbreak earlier in the year, she’s found herself again and enjoying her time in the ballroom.

After a series of excellent performances and high praise from judges, Ariana is really feeling the pressure now. She’s pushed through a foot injury and is preparing to deliver another great routine.

DWTS Season 32 is halfway over and the other competitors are working incredibly hard too. Can Ariana work through the added pressure and climb to the top of the leaderboard?

Ariana Madix could very well be the next Mirrorball Trophy winner

During Monster Night, Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov delivered a stunning Argentine tango to “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish. They received glowing scores from the judges, including a 10 from Bruno Tonioli. Overall, they earned a 37/40 for their performance.

Carrie Ann Inaba praised the pair and said she felt that they were gunning for the Mirrorball Trophy.

Receiving high praise from the judges always feels great, but Ariana Madix feels a lot of pressure to win now. She knows the judges are watching her and expect great things from her moving forward.

“I don’t want her to feel at any point in the coming weeks that she was wrong in saying that,” Ariana told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview. “I want to make her feel like what she said was true.”

The reality star went on to say that she hopes she and Pasha can stay at the top of the leaderboard. They’re laser-focused on their own progress and won’t compare themselves to other contestants.

“We’re working so hard every single day and there’s something about that hard work that feels so tangible when you feel like you put the work in and then people see it,” Ariana continued in the interview. “You get a good score, you’ve got good feedback. And so that feeling, it’s a sense of accomplishment that I can’t really describe. It’s amazing.”

What will the pair bring to the ballroom tonight?

All week long, Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov have been working incredibly hard on their routine for Music Video Night. This evening, they will perform the Cha-cha-cha to “I’m a Slave 4 U” by Britney Spears for their individual routine. Afterward, they will compete in a freestyle team dance to “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by Backstreet Boys.
