‘Teen Mom’ Kailyn Lowry Shares Her Teen Son’s Wish in Q&A

Teen Mom Star Kailyn Lowry hosted an Instagram Q&A on Sunday, November 5. Her thirteen-year-old son, Isaac, gave her a sobering piece of parenting advice that she had taken to heart.

Kailyn Lowry Won’t Share Her Young Children’s Faces

In the post, one of her fans asked Lowry to share a photo of her son, Rio, who arrived less than a year before her newborn twins. Lowry responded with, “I’m still thinking about this! I love that he’s had his privacy. Isaac said for me to wait until Rio can tell me if he wants his face online or not.” However, she also states that she “thought about maybe in a family photo or something when we get them done again.” She then shared a photo of him which was kinda odd.

So what was his wish? Isaac does not want his younger siblings growing up in the spotlight like he did, to which fans raised concerns that Kailyn was using him and his siblings for money. In a post about Kailyn Lowry’s TikTok with her son Isaac on the subreddit r/TeenMomOGandTeenMom2, Reddit user u/grilledcheese2332 stated that “the reason she is rich is pretty wild to think about. And the fact that her kids are a huge part of it and they had no say in the matter.”

The Teen Mom star only revealed that she had given birth to Rio almost a year after his birth, sharing in one of her podcasts, “I have not addressed the rumors about my fifth son. And so, I can do that now. This is not where I was supposed to bring it up. I asked Elijah…Elijah didn’t cry when I gave birth to Rio. That was really upsetting to me. Now that I think about it, I don’t remember if Javi cried or not and I don’t remember if Chris did or not.”

Isaac Makes A Change

On Friday, Lowry gave birth to twin babies, a boy and a girl, less than one year after welcoming Rio. Only days before, Lowry announced that she was expecting two more children, leaving fans to speculate about twins.

With three infants in the family, Isaac has taken a stand. He told his mother not to force his new siblings into the spotlight until they were able to give consent. Isaac has also reportedly made a change in his household duties.

Earlier this year, Kailyn Lowry addressed claims from fans and critics that she uses Isaac to help her raise her youngest children. She specifically addressed one remark to her Baby Mamas no Drama co-host where a fan claimed: “I probably have Isaac raise my kids for me.” The Teen Mom star wasn’t happy with the assumption and clapped back, saying, “I commented back, and I said, ‘Isaac doesn’t f***ing like kids, he just doesn’t’…and I said, ‘actually, no.’”
