The day has finally arrived — Elizabeth “Liz” Johnston has given birth to her baby girl. While it is both difficult and awkward to ask, fans of TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons have one big question. Is Leighton Drew Bolden a dwarf like her mother? Or, does Liz’s daughter take after her father Brice? Keep reading as TV Shows Ace dives into whether Liz Johnston’s baby is a little person.

7 Little Johnstons: Is Liz Johnston’s Baby Girl A Dwarf?

Just a few weeks ago TV Shows Ace reported what fans thought about whether Liz’s baby girl would also have dwarfism. TV Shows Ace also covered the statistics behind the possibility of her daughter being a little person.

Leighton Drew Bolden is finally here. Pictures of the newest member of the Johnstons family have been flooding Instagram. But, fans still have a big question: Is she also a little person? And then there is the question, is it even appropriate to ask this?

Liz and Brice penned in a joint post: “Leighton Drew Bolden 5lbs 10oz 19 inches long of pure sweetness we couldn’t be more in love with you!!!”

Unfortunately, the post did not concretely say whether Liz Johnston’s baby girl was a dwarf. 7 Little Johnstons fans, however, are able to speculate with her birth measurements.

What Are The Chances Of Achondroplasia?

According to MedicalNewsToday, Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden had a 50 percent chance of having a baby with achondroplasia. On average, a newborn with achondroplasia is between 12 and 13 inches long.

Elizabeth Johnston revealed in her Instagram post that her baby girl was 19 inches long. So, statistically, it is highly unlikely that a 19-inch newborn would have achondroplasia. With this information in mind, most 7 Little Johnstons fans are taking this information and assuming this means Leighton Drew Bolden is NOT a little person.

In response to news of her birth, many fans have called attention to the 19 inches. These fans agree that the length certainly sounds like Elizabeth’s baby girl is not a dwarf.

When Will Liz Johnston Share This Info?

Liz Johnston and her partner Brice Bolden could decide to share this information via social media with fans. It, however, is unlikely they will take this approach.

If Liz Johnston’s birth gets featured on 7 Little Johnstons, whether the baby is a dwarf may be something they save to reveal on the series. Furthermore, Liz and Brice could also decide to sell the scoop on whether the baby is a little person to a media outlet as they did with the birth story.

At this time, most fans are fairly confident in assuming Liz Johnston’s baby is NOT a little person. This, however, is just speculation based on the information available. It has not been confirmed by Liz Johnston or Brice Bolden.

Do you think their baby girl could also be a dwarf? Share your thoughts in the comments. And, keep coming back for more news and updates on this beautiful TLC family.

  1. I don’t think the baby is a little person. Her head is small and she doesn’t have little person features. Whether she is or not doesn’t matter though. Such a cute little one.

  2. The baby looks so perfect in her own right ❤️💃 doesn’t matter the size 🤭 hopefully she has inherited her mom’s dimples 🤭❤️

    1. Blessings and Well wishes for your sweet baby girl . Stay together and take one day at a wonderful time for you both.
