‘7 Little Johnstons:’ Emma Johnston’s College Choice Leaked?
It’s hard for TLC fans to wrap their minds around Emma Johnston being both 18 years old and a senior in high school. This, however, means that college is right around the corner for Emma. Will Trent and Amber Johnston encourage their daughter to go to a school close to home? Or, will Emma spread her wings and fly from home?
Chatter on Reddit reveals a university may have actually leaked Emma Johnston as a future student at their school in a recent social media post. Why were fans so sure the Emma in the post was the same Emma from TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons? More importantly, which university was it? Keep reading for the details.
7 Little Johnstons: Emma Johnston’s College Choice Leaked?
According to chatter on Reddit, 7 Little Johnstons fans suspect Emma may have future plans at Oklahoma City University. The OP of a thread from a few days ago explained there was a post that mentioned “freshman Emma Johnston.” The OP did clarify that the TLC star was tagged in the post. So, it was not possible that they were referring to a different Emma. This, however, is unless they just happened to tag her by mistake.
so that must be where Emma is going I don’t know I could be wrong but I looked it up and it’s over 12 hrs from where they live in Georgia do you really think that Trent and amber would let her go there seems to far and I mean we all saw what they did to Anna.”
What About Middle Georgia State?
Now, there was some confusion in the thread. Some fans noted that both Emma and her parents spoke of Middle Georgia State. Others, however, clarified she was just in a dual program getting credits from Middle Georgia State while going to high school. The dual program with the credits, however, doesn’t necessarily lock her into going to Middle Georgia State. Emma Johnston could transfer the credits somewhere else.
A few 7 Little Johnstons fans reminded she was still in high school. Furthermore, a lot of fans did not believe the window in which colleges usually accept students has come to pass. Other fans argued that, however, didn’t mean Emma Johnston wasn’t already locked into a school.
There were some fans who opted to celebrate the possibility. These fans noted Emma Johnston always came off as “a little shy.” So, they thought getting away from her parents and having some independence would be great for her future.
