Kody Brown has been commending Robyn for staying by his side after three of his wives left. He often mentions her name whenever he’s having conversations with Janelle, Meri, or Christine, implying that they should’ve acted like his only legal wife. But the ex-wives had enough, and even the kids got frustrated by how he praised Robyn. However, it appears some fans are starting to notice his disrespectful way of treating his wife.
Was Kody Going Too Far With His Remarks?
Some Sister Wives fans on Reddit have been calling out Kody for his comments to Robyn. But it’s not about his favoritism. Instead, some think he’s going too far with his words and is becoming disrespectful. According to them, he’s starting to treat his wife like a dog by complimenting her with the words “loyal” and “obedient.”
- “Those are words you use to describe your dog, not your wife. Why is she okay with him describing her this way?” one person said.
- “You are so right! He sees himself far superior over women, it’s annoying,” another commenter added.
- “She might be the only “loyal” wife because she’s also the only wife without her own income. I think loyal in this case = dependent,” another person said.
Kody Brown has yet to share his comments about his recent backlash. But it’s clear in Season 18 that he has no negative things to say about the fourth wife. Meanwhile, Robyn has been wanting to bring the family back together. Though some think she’s not making any effort to convince her sister wives.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Cannot Fix His Family
Season 18 has shown the most challenging days Kody has ever been on. He has expressed his desire to reconcile with Janelle. But he doesn’t seem motivated enough and often blames Christine for manipulating her. Many are also upset by how he just gave up on Meri despite her efforts to reignite their relationship.
TLC also released a clip from the latest episode where Kody Brown admitted that he can’t fix his broken family. He was also showered with criticism, saying that he should do everything he could as the patriarch.
