Mini Materials on Shark Tank

The owner of Mini Materials is coming to Shark Tank this week to pitch their company to the sharks. This will be a big week on the show, with a necessary outdoor product, a kids’ clothing company, and a guitar pick company looking for investors. For Mini Materials, it is more along the line of building materials.

Here is a look at Mini Materials from Shark Tank and where you can buy them at.

What are Mini Materials on Shark Tank?

Mini Materials started business in 2015. However, in 2022, a new owner purchased the company and he wants a Shark Tank investor to help him with an investment in the product. Jared Walters took over the company in 2022 and has worked on diversifying its product range. Located in Portland, Oregon, they handcraft high-quality miniature supplies made out of cement, wood, and nails.

The company markets its products for construction and hobby enthusiasts. They sell concrete blocks, red bricks, and different forms of lumber. They also have tony roadway barriers, traffic signs, and furniture. With everything they sell, a person could make an entire mini-town. Ideas include mini desk decorations, gifts, teaching tools for educators, and intricate models. What makes the company stand out is using real-world materials and not just cheap plastic.

To do so, Mini Materials uses 3D printing, laser cutting, and even substrate printing. They added 30 new products in the last half year thanks to the technological advances.
