‘Sister Wives’: Was Kody Brown Unwilling To Bring Back Ex-Wives?
Sister Wives star Kody Brown has been struggling to bring his family back together in Season 18. Things haven’t been the same between the patriarch and his family since Christine left. He even had a big fight with Janelle, while Meri finally decided to step away and focus on her business in Utah. The 54-year-old husband kept talking about reconciling with some of his exes throughout the season. However, some fans think he’s not actually willing to do it.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Felt Like He Went Through Death
In one of his interviews, Kody revealed that he and Robyn are going through “death” after losing Janelle, Meri, and Christine. He also added that divorce changes people, and there’s been a lot going on with him. The Sister Wives star even said he and his only remaining wife had to use a lot of grace and forgiveness. “Because I’m not myself. It’s an experience that I did not expect in my life,” he added. The reality TV personality also had issues about not having the right to say. According to him, Christine made a choice to divorce, which is something he believes he’s never going to do. But some fans on social media are not having it.
Fans Are Not Convinced With Kody’s Efforts
Some Sister Wives fans think Kody’s efforts to reconcile with his ex-wives are not convincing enough. He has expressed wanting to fix his marriage with Janelle. But he hasn’t done anything aside from their awkward date on her birthday. The former second wife also said that she’ll reconcile with her ex-husband if he starts treating her like a real wife. Others also pointed out that the “death” Kody felt from his divorces was actually the “death of joy.” He even revealed in one of his interviews that losing his wives was both a “blessing and curse,” implying that detaching from them doesn’t hurt him a lot.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Continues To Live Life With Only One Wife
At this point, Kody and Robyn live in Arizona. They’ve been spotted multiple times going on expensive trips with their kids. The father of 18 has made efforts to stay in touch with his other children from his ex-wives. He was present at Savanah’s high school graduation in May and attended Gwendlyn’s wedding in July. He has also expressed wanting to reconcile with his estranged sons, Gabriel and Garrison. However, he hasn’t shown much effort to bring back his exes, Meri and Janelle.
