‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown’s Rift With Adult Children Continues
Sister Wives star Kody Brown has been struggling to keep his family together the last few seasons. Christine, Janelle, and Meri have decided to step away, and some of the kids no longer follow him. The patriarch has admitted to having issues with Gabriel and Garrison. Though he made it clear that he regretted his feud with them. He tried to contact his sons. Sister Wives: Kody Brown Create Conflict Between The Kids?
Kody has been accused multiple times of trying to pit his children against each other. He hasn’t spent equal time with them and changes his behavior depending on whose kids he is with. According to some, it’s noticeable how the Sister Wives star has very little energy for some of his kids while acting like a cool and fun parent to others. Many have also noticed that he often acts like a “victim” whenever he’s with Robyn’s kids, which may be the reason why some of them aren’t as close to the other children.
The Adults Began To Understand His Favoritism
Some of the adult children have spoken up about Kody’s favoritism in recent years. Gwendlyn and Paedon, are well aware of his unfair treatment of their mothers. Gabriel and Garrison have also expressed their disappointment with how their dad treats them and Janelle. In Season 18, Garrison revealed that they no longer need a father figure.
Kody Brown is still present in their lives. However, it was difficult for them to get his attention. Things also changed when Robyn and her children came into the family. Some Sister Wives fans believe that the 54-year-old treated the fourth wife like they were in a monogamous relationship. Kody recently admitted that he was in fact in a monogamous marriage with his fourth wife Robyn.

Aside from being unfair, Kody has also been deemed a strict parent by some Sister Wives fans. He often talks about how mad he feels when the older children don’t make an effort to spend time with him, despite his minimal efforts for them and their mothers. Season 18 also showed his failure to bring everyone together for the holidays.
According to some, he tried to buy their love with gifts instead of being a father and making time for them. It also appears that Kody Brown had already given up trying to be a parent to those with whom he struggled to connect more. Kody has admitted he needs therapy to help with thsi rift between him and his sons.
