Matt Roloff’s Brother Breaks Silence On Why He Won’t Join ‘LPBW’
Little People, Big World (LPBW) star Matt Roloff’s brother Sam is breaking his silence on why he won’t join the reality TV series. The show has had a long run with its 24 seasons. Over the years, TLC has documented many big moments in the Roloff family’s lives. So, it would make sense if more relatives joined the show on a regular basis or from time to time. But Sam is one who would rather not be a part of it all and live his life in the spotlight. What has he said about possibly joining LPBW?
Who Is Sam Roloff?
Longtime Roloff family fans may know about Matt’s siblings and parents. Because Matt is the only one of his siblings on TV, there’s a chance his followers don’t know about the rest of the family. Matt has three siblings, including a sister named Ruth Margret. His brothers include Samuel George and Joshua Luke. Sadly, Joshua passed away in 1999 due to a birth defect.
On social media over the years, Matt has posted a handful of pictures of himself hanging out with Sam.

Matt Roloff’s Brother Breaks Silence On Why He Won’t Join ‘LPBW’
With the success of LPBW, did Sam Roloff ever consider joining the show? In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Sam opened up about his thoughts on the show. It sounds like Sam is not supportive of his brother’s decision to involve the kids in the show.
He told The Sun: “My ex [wife] didn’t want the kids to be involved in the show, and so that kind of put us off the list. I think it’s not really healthy to have kids on the show.”
Sam continued, “It was never a formal offer, but just the first talks of [the producers saying], ‘Hey, are you guys interested in doing this?’ And the answer was no.”
Based on this interview, it sounds like Sam is still not interested in the show. So, fans won’t be seeing him on TLC any time soon.
Three of Matt Roloff’s four kids have now stepped away from LPBW. It sounds like Tori and Zach Roloff are ready to part ways with TLC too, which would mean that none of the four kids would still be involved. While Zach and Tori are still involved, their children, Jackson, Lilah, and Josiah, will be too.
