Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Miracles of Christmas programming continues with the new holiday movie A World Record Christmas. What is this movie about? According to the synopsis, Charlie is an autistic teen with a goal. He wants to set a Guinness World Record by stacking 1,400 Jenga blocks.
Although he is doing this on his own, it turns out he needs a little help from his family as well. His mom, Marissa, and stepfather, Eric, support Charlie on this venture. When he gets the good news that he can try to break the record on Christmas Eve, the family celebrates together.
Charlie has another reason to make this record. His father has never been around. Charlie believes that if he can set the record, his dad will be around more.
Simultaneously, Marissa and Eric are working on their relationship. They have “hit a lull.” Now, they are working on getting that old spark again.
“As Charlie prepares for his record attempt by practicing his Jenga stacking skills, he gets the idea to organize a fundraiser that gives the townspeople an opportunity to donate and decorate a Jenga block, with the proceeds going to benefit kids with autism. Charlie’s journey to setting the Jenga world record gives them all the chance to learn more not just about themselves, but about what family really means.”
