Mauricio Umansky said that he joined Season 32 of DWTS because he was dealing with personal issues. He and his RHOBH wife, Kyle Richards were going through troubles. Therefore, he felt that this was a great distraction from everything at home and he wanted to have fun. He was paired with Emma Slater and they immediately had a great time. However, within a short time, it came out that Mauricio and Kyle had officially separated. Yet, she still showed up for his first week on the show. He maintained that they would always be there for each other no matter what.
Then, it looked like Mauricio and Emma were more than just dance partners. They were spotted out, looking very happy together. Even show judge, Carrie Ann Inaba noted that they seemed to have a great connection. So, it is love? According to The Sun, the duo made a video during rehearsals to address the rumors as to what is actually going on. Per Mauricio: “For full clarity, we are not dating. We are really good friends. We’ve been dancing now for six weeks, four hours a day, every single day.”
As for Emma, she had this to say: “You really form a very, very special bond and I feel like we’ve got similar personalities. We’re definitely there for each other and it’s beautiful, that’s a great thing.” Additionally, she shared they are very supportive of one another. As for their intimate dinner recently where they were caught holding hands? It was purely an after-rehearsal meal, nothing more. What about the hand-holding? He reached for her hand and she returned the favor.

When Mauricio Umansky’s estranged wife, Kyle Richards appeared on WWHL Wednesday night, she was pressed about his romance. She was very blunt and admitted that she does think that there is something going on. Though she did not go into too much detail about it, she claimed it did hurt her to see this right in front of her eyes. More so, she was honest. Kyle shared she did delete her supportive DWTS post for Mauricio and Emma from her social media after seeing them together.
