Welcome to Plathville fans might have finally figured out the last straw in Ethan and Olivia Plath‘s relationship. The couple has faced plenty of issues in their five years of marriage. But now, they seem to be rapidly moving toward a split. There is heavy speculation that they are getting a divorce. But what might have finally pulled them apart? One of Olivia’s sisters claimed that Ethan and Olivia were getting a divorce. However, fans haven’t heard this directly from the couple themselves. So, it’s unclear what’s really happening with that. Ethan has been spotted with a mystery woman, and now, things seem to be getting even more intense between Ethan and Olivia.

As we reported, TLC released a new clip promoting the second half of the new season. In it, Ethan and Olivia have a joint confessional and chat about their marriage. Ethan says, “When me and Olivia moved up here to Minnesota, we were in a very good place. That has completely disappeared in a matter of months.”
In the new preview, Ethan eventually stands up in the middle of the confessional and claims that he’s “done.”

Welcome to Plathville fans speculate the last straw and their relationship.
On Reddit, fans are talking about Ethan and Olivia potentially getting a divorce. Though it’s not confirmed, this recent trailer suggests they are growing even further apart. Several fans are under the impression that their split is all due to their move to Minnesota. Many assumed that their moving to Minnesota would’ve helped because they got some distance from his family drama.
In a comment, one Welcome to Plathville fan said, “They couldn’t keep blaming all of their problems on his family, and finally had to look at themselves.”
Another agreed, ” I think they thought a fresh start would fix their problems and they realized your problems follow you.”
Along the same lines, someone else pointed out, “I think staying near Ethan’s family gave them something to bond over. Not having them as their ‘joint problem’ left the two of them with nothing in common.”
Of course, it’s still unclear if the couple is seriously getting a divorce. There are many questions about where their relationship stands today. But maybe moving to Minnesota made them realize just how intense their relationship problems are, as fans speculated.
