TLC’s ‘Welcome To Plathville:’ Ethan Plath’s Mystery Girl Explained?
TLC’s Welcome to Plathville star Ethan Plath was spotted a month ago with a mystery girl who was very much NOT his wife Olivia. The girl was reportedly younger-looking. She had long brunette hair.
The photos suggested she was several inches shorter than Ethan. In these photos, the mystery girl hung out at the bar with Ethan Plath and later danced with him. In one photo, she even looked to be getting up on her tiptoes to whisper something in his ear.
Now, there were also reports that Ethan Plath did later leave with his mystery female companion. Unsurprisingly, these rumors did nothing to help the divorce rumors swirling about Ethan and Olivia Plath.
Recent previews for new episodes of Welcome to Plathville, however, have TLC fans wondering about the mystery girl once again. Namely, fans wonder if Olivia knows who she is. Furthermore, fans wonder if the mystery girl will make an appearance in the series.

TLC’s Welcome To Plathville: Ethan Plath’s Mystery Girl Explained?
A preview for an upcoming episode of Welcome to Plathville has fans asking questions about the mystery girl Ethan was spotted with a month ago. Namely, fans wonder if the preview meant Olivia knew about the girl and who she was. The question is: Is this mystery girl a threat to Olivia and Ethan’s marriage?
One fan penned in a Reddit thread: “So in the previews coming up in the next few episodes. Ethan and Olivia talk about how Ethan is at the bar with a girl that does not respect their relationship, so is the picture that was posted a few weeks ago of him and the other girl at the bar the same girl that they’re talking about on the show I’m just curious if anyone else thinks that is the same situation.”
In response to the thread, other fans were not so sure the preview was about the mystery girl. Fans, however, were conflicted on who they thought the preview was about. For example, some fans insisted Olivia was referring to Micah. Others, however, believed it was actually Moriah that she was referring to.
Furthermore, some Welcome to Plathville fans added that it is important to remember TLC does a heavy amount of editing. So, they tend to make things look a certain way even if nothing happened.
One fan noted it was important to keep in mind Olivia did not say “girl” during the preview like the OP of the thread claimed. They explained Olivia actually said “someone” which could have been referring to a person of either gender and not necessarily the mystery girl.
