The 22 women competing on The Golden Bachelor did everything they could to make a memorable first impression on Gerry Turner after they exited the limo.
For Sandra Mason, 75, that meant sharing her NSFW “zen chant” with the retiree. Gerry Turner seemed taken aback when she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and repeatedly uttered the word “f**k.”
He later told The Hollywood Reporter that he found the chant “embarrassing,” but surprisingly, gave her a rose anyway.
In fact, he’s given Sandra Mason a rose in every episode so far, making her one of the final six women vying for Gerry Turner’s Final Golden Rose. Will she get it?

Up until the latest episode, Bachelor Nation fans absolutely adored Sandra Mason. However, she ruffled some feathers by confessing that she skipped her daughter’s wedding to be a contestant on the show.

While fans weren’t happy Mason skipped such an important event, they were impressed by her skills on the pickleball court. At one point in the game, the senior citizen dove into the crowd after an errant ball.
Is Sandra Mason Keeping A Big Secret?
There are multiple discussions on Reddit about whether Sandra Mason is keeping a huge secret. What is it?
They just cannot believe that she is 75 years old. A thread in the /BachelorNation subreddit speculates that she is actually 45. The OP of the thread compares the situation to the Drew Barrymore movie Never Been Kissed, where a journalist, played by Barrymore, pretends to be a teenager.
“Wouldn’t it be cool if Sandra was actually a 45-year-old journalist pretending to be 75 for her own news story?” the Redditor suggests.
Another Bachelor Nation fan agreed, writing, “She has such beautiful skin and a fun youthful vibe. I’m shocked if she’s 75!”
A separate thread in the /goldenbachelor_ subreddit puts Sandra Mason’s age at 50. “She could pass for 50. She has virtually no wrinkles and is absolutely stunning. And she tore it up at Pickleball,” opined the original poster.
One comment suggested Mason is out of Gerry Turner’s league, “Yeah she looks great but imo she is too good for him. I have absolutely nothing ti [sic] back that up besides just a gut feeling.”
A second Redditor co-signed the comment, replying, “I think Sandra is one of the most intelligent people there. So, too smart and a little too sophisticated for Gerry.”
