‘The Masked Singer’: Who Is Tiki? All The Hints And Clues
The Masked Singer aired this week with four brand-new contestants, including Tiki. These singers all sang the songs of Elton John and after Royal Hen unmasked as Billie Jean King, fans now have the fun of trying to figure out who the other three singers are as they move into the next round.
Here is a look at Tiki on The Masked Singer, his clues, and who we think it might be.
Tiki on The Masked Singer
Tiki came out on The Masked Singer to perform and took the costume of a cocktail beverage glass, with lots of fruit on top. The night was “A Celebration of Elton John” and Tiki chose to sing the song “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” One thing that all the judges noticed was that Tiki had a big voice and was likely a rock star. He was also very tall, which is a big clue in and of itself.
Tiki’s clue package on The Masked Singer also played into that. The clues started out with a mock show called Behind the Tiki which parodied Behind the Music. He started out screaming “Alright!” in a high-pitched voice, like a rock star. Tiki said that he always wanted to be a rock star since he was a kid. He said he has sold millions of records, traveled around the world, and performed with some massive stars. However, he then admitted he drank a lot and got into a lot of trouble.
He said that he rubbed people the wrong way and then he thought he had poured his career down the drain. There was also a photo of a monkey wearing a party hat in a room that had been destroyed. Tiki then said he cleaned up his act and stepped out on his own. He claims he is still at the top of his game. The last clue was someone playing “I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues” on a piano and Tiki saying if someone is blue they can come to him for a “good laugh.”
Who is Tiki on The Masked Singer?
The guesses on Tiki’s identity in The Masked Singer were varied. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg guessed he was a comedian who could sing, and she guessed John Stamos. Nicole Scherzinger thought it was an actual singer and guessed David Lee Roth of Van Halen. Robin Thicke went out on a limb and thought it could be Led Zeppelin lead singer Robert Plant.
There were also people on social media guessing that it could be Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. However, Tyler has been out of action since the summer when he suffered vocal cord injuries.
We, however, believe that Tiki on The Masked Singer is former Skid Row lead singer Sebastian Bach. He has dealt with alcohol problems and Skid Row kicked him out of the band. He has also shown his sense of humor before with his roles on Gilmore Girls and Trailer Park Boys. Also, Sebastian Bach is tall, at 6 ft 3 and the monkey could refer to the Skid Row song “Monkey Business.”
