1000-Lb. Sisters: Tammy Slaton Arrested
Per InTouch Weekly, Tammy Slaton of TLC’s 1000-Lb. Sisters was arrested in the state of Kentucky. She is facing charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
The TLC personality was charged with two counts of drug paraphernalia possession and one count of marijuana possession. A Union County Court clerk confirmed that a Sturgis police officer responded after receiving a complaint about her drug use on August 4th.

Tammy Slaton appeared in court for her arraignment on August 31st. Her pre-trial conference took place earlier this month on October 5th. Tammy, however, was not legally required to attend the pre-trial conference.
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any additional information posted about Tammy Slaton’s arrest at this time. It, however, does not sound as though she is behind bars right now.
Arrested Days After Caleb’s Funeral
Piecing the timeline together, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star was arrested just a few days after she attended the funeral of her husband Caleb Willingham. As fans know, it was back in June when the news of Caleb’s death officially broke. It was his brother who took to social media first to share the tragic news.
When Caleb Willingham died, 1000-Lb. Sisters fans feared his death would throw Tammy Slaton off-track. She had been doing so well with her weight loss prior to his passing. Fans feared the grief would drive her to overeating.
Sadly, Caleb Willingham and Tammy Slaton were not in a good place prior to his death. Caleb Willingham had reportedly all but given up on his weight loss journey and was not making any progress. Not wanting to hinder all of her progress, Tammy decided to split from Caleb. The TLC couple was reportedly in the early stages of getting a divorce when Caleb passed away.

It didn’t take long for news of Tammy Slaton’s arrest to make rounds on social media platforms. For the most part, fans were hesitant to believe the news report was even true. Many fans shrugged off the news. Furthermore, they pointed out that marijuana is legal in a lot of places.
Fortunately, it doesn’t look like too many fans are bothered by what Tammy Slaton has been arrested for. In fact, most fans are admitting they will write it off as not a very big deal.
