On her Instagram page this weekend, Whitney shared a few beautiful new pictures with fans. They welcomed their fifth child, a baby girl named Lily Jo, to the world in August. So, Zach and Whitney’s family had a special photoshoot to document this exciting time in their lives.
The Bates family opted for an in-home photoshoot, which helped to keep things real as they posed with their five kids, Bradley, Kaci, Khloé, Jadon, and Lily.

In addition to posting on her main Instagram feed, Whitney also posted a few family photos on her Instagram Stories. In one of the snaps, she was showing quite a bit of skin. The picture features her and her husband Zach Bates lying on their bed with their infant daughter Lily. The proud parents stared in awe at their beautiful newborn as she snoozed. In the photo, Whitney wore a long, flowy off-the-shoulder dress.
When she laid down, however, it showed a bit more skin, teasing a hint of cleavage.

On Reddit, fans reposted Whitney Bates’ new photo and discussed just how much skin she was showing. It certainly took them by surprise. Some teased that this picture was “scandalous,” though it’s only a big deal because she’s a member of the Bates family.
Many Bringing Up Bates fans also applauded the couple for the progress they’ve made. They seem to be making decisions for themselves about modesty and raising their children.
Some think that Zach and Whitney are on their way out of the IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles). One wrote, “I think they do a great job of going down their own path whilst still being respectful to the beliefs of their parents. It must be a hard balance to get right without causing offense.”
