Tyler Cameron talks overcoming biggest fear
Tyler Cameron is showing how tough he is on Season 2 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. However, even tough guy Tyler has some fears he has to face. The Sun shared all about his fear and his overcoming it.
He said they called him a week and a half before the show began to film so he didn’t have much time to prepare for it. While trying to get prepared he read David Goggin’s book. He said, “I was just trying to get whatever advice I could get about mental toughness and preparing for hell week and stuff like that.”
Tyler also called his ex-Hannah Brown since she was the Season 1 winner. She revealed it was the hardest thing she had ever done.
One of Tyler’s biggest fears was revealed during The Bachelorette. He shared that he has always been really afraid of horses. So, of course he and Hannah rode horses on the show. He said it was a nightmare and his legs were shaking the whole time.
He shared why he has this fear. Tyler said, “One of my really good friends got kicked in the face by a horse as a kid. And it was after that I didn’t want to be around a horse ever again.”
Fortunately, there were no horses in Season 2 of Special Forces. However, he did have to face another fear, heights. He said, “I’ve never been on anything tall before, I guess, and that stuff scared me. I’d say I’m still afraid of them, but [the directing staff] definitely made me get uncomfortable.”
He got closer to a few of the other cast mates
Tyler made two really good friends while going through the torturous Special Forces training. He and Bachelor Nick Viall got closer and they hadn’t been close previously.
Tyler Cameron also got close to JoJo Siwa. He thought she would be a diva but turned out to be an incredible leader on the show.
Overall he walked away more disciplined than he’s ever been.
