The View hosts discuss aging and falling.

On Tuesday’s episode of The View, the hosts chatted about politics during the Hot Topics segment. Whoopi Goldberg started the conversation by mentioning that President Joe Biden’s team is concerned about him potentially falling again. There has been a lot of talk about the ages of prominent politicians and whether they can continue doing their jobs.

Whoopi claimed that this conversation is a “bit insulting to people who are over 70.”

Then, Whoopi added that falling doesn’t equal incompetence at work. She pointed out that both she and Joy Behar have fallen plenty of times, but this doesn’t affect their roles on The View. So, Whoopi is wondering whether it should have an impact on politicians.

Joy Behar reveals an awful fall, is she okay?

It turns out that Joy doesn’t think falling has anything to do with how old she is. She informed viewers that she’s always fallen, even from a young age. She said, “I fell when I was 20. I always fell. I’m a klutz.”

Amid this conversation, Joy got real with The View fans and revealed she had an awful fall recently. “I fell the other day in my kitchen. The rubber of my shoe hit the floor, and I went flying. What’s that got to do with age?”

Fortunately, it doesn’t sound like she was seriously injured. She didn’t share too many details about the spill, but she likely would have disclosed it if she had been hurt or hospitalized. Plus, she showed up at work afterward and seems to be doing well. Hopefully, all is well with Joy and she doesn’t take too many more falls or end up seriously hurt.
