Dancing With The Stars fans aren’t at all happy with the way the season premiere ended.

Although there were plenty of great performances, viewers weren’t happy that one couple went home at the end of the night. To make matters worse, most viewers thought there were many other couples who deserved elimination more than the pair that ultimately went home.

Now, some fans are even publicly suggesting the competition is rigged. So what exactly set fans off and what are they saying online?

Many Dancing With The Stars fans disagree with Tuesday night’s elimination

Each and every year, rumors float around that Dancing With The Stars is “rigged.” But after the season premiere, that rumor is already flying around the internet. Fans believe there was a grave injustice committed onscreen last night.

After Matt Walsh walked out of rehearsals amid the WGA strikes, many viewers weren’t sure that he would perform well during the season premiere. But he and his dance partner Koko Iwasaki surprised fans with their entertaining Cha-cha-cha. Ultimately, it didn’t sit well with the judges who gave the couple a 12 out of 30.

At the end of the night, they were in the bottom two alongside Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater. The show alleged that Koko and Matt received the lowest score combined with the lowest number of fan votes. As a result, they would leave the show.

The decision enraged fans, who thought there were other couples who deserved elimination more.

Adrian Peterson & Jamie Lynn Spears prove to be unpopular with viewers

Several fans felt uneasy after NFL player Adrian Peterson showed up to Good Morning America for the cast reveal. The football player has two counts of domestic abuse in his past and many felt that he didn’t deserve to be on the show at all. Former pro dancers Sharna Burgess and Cheryl Burke both voiced concern over his casting in the first place.

On top of that, many viewers were less than enthused about Jamie Lynn Spears‘ decision to compete. Many believe she played a heavy role in her sister Britney Spears’ controversial conservatorship. At the end of the day, it seems that DWTS fans would be happier if these two couples would have been in the bottom two instead.

Overall, several DWTS viewers found Matt Walsh’s routine entertaining and joyful. All over social media, several pointed out that it was a bit suspicious he was the first to go home after the WGA debacle.

“A little (a lot) sus that the only person to walk out [of] rehearsals to stand in solidarity with the WGA got severely underscored by the judges and then eliminated,” one viewer shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

What do you think about the situation? Do you also believe that DWTS Season 32 is “fixed?” Are you happy with Tuesday’s elimination, or would you have chosen someone else to send home? Share what you think in the comments.
