‘DWTS’ Premiere Night: Who Went Home?
Dancing With The Stars Season 32 is here and fans are excited to see what happens next. But after the season premiere, one couple has already gone home.
It’s always disappointing to lose a competing couple, but there can only be one winner at the end of the season. When the night began, there were 14 couples. Now there are only 13.
So who managed to win over the judges and the audience and who failed to secure enough votes? TV Shows Ace has the scoop.
Celebrities put their best foot forward for the DWTS season premiere
Even as recently as Sunday, many weren’t sure that DWTS Season 32 would start on September 26 as planned. The WGA strike forced Matt Walsh out of the rehearsal room and picketers gathered outside the rehearsal studio. However, the union and networks seemed to come to an agreement over the weekend.
Dancing With The Stars fans were excited to see the show continue as planned. There were plenty of surprises during the night, including Barry Williams’ performance. The Brady Bunch actor made it absolutely clear he wanted the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy and put his best foot forward with pro Peta Murgatroyd.
Judges also dubbed singer Jason Mraz as the “one to watch” this season. He and his partner Daniella Karagach scored a 21 out of 30. Ultimately, The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev took home the highest score of the night with a 22 out of 30.
So who went home at the end of the night?
No one wants to see a couple go home on the first night. But sadly, one couple did leave the competition after receiving low votes from the judges and voters at home.
When it came down to the bottom couples, Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater were in danger alongside Matt Walsh and Koko Iwasaki.
Ultimately, Matt and Koko were eliminated at the end of the night. They just couldn’t secure a high score from the judges or enough votes from viewers to keep them in the competition. However, they will be missed and their fans wish they could have had a little bit more time to redeem themselves.
Were you surprised to see Matt Walsh and Koko Iwasaki go home so early? Who did you vote for during the premiere night episode? Share your thoughts and ideas in the comments.
