Welcome To Plathville Season 5 is just three episodes in and TLC fans everywhere agree that “juicy” is an accurate word to describe the season so far. Welcome To Plathville: Nathan Meggs’ DUI Highlighted On Show
As fans know, Olivia came from a large family that lived the same fundamentalist lifestyle as the Plaths. In time, Olivia and her brother Nathan broke away from the strict lifestyle of their family. Despite growing up, Olivia remained fairly close to her brother Nathan. As Welcome To Plathville fans know, Nathan actually resided with Olivia and Ethan for a while.
Sadly, Nathan has had a hard time adjusting to life now and talking about his path. He, however, is still young and somewhat attached to the beliefs he grew up with.
While Nathan Meggs was living with his sister and Ethan, he was arrested. The arrest took place in March 2022. He was charged with a DUI. He was just 19 when he was busted for driving under the influence in the state of Florida. Per InTouch Weekly, the police reports indicated that he “was observed unconscious in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, while the vehicle was turned on, at the gas pumps of a gas station.”
The police reports also confirm Nathan “provided a breath sample of .087/.088% BrAC.” Unfortunately, this meant Olivia’s brother was significantly over the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
Ethan Plath Posted His Bond
Nathan was arrested and booked at Florida’s Hillsborough County. Ethan Plath later posted his bail. Despite being horrified by his actions, Ethan and Olivia didn’t hesitate to provide Nathan with the support he needed following his massive mistake.
Nathan Meggs has not very much screen time on Season 5 of Welcome To Plathville. He, however, has connected with TLC fans who adore him. More specifically, fans of the show enjoy getting to see beyond Olivia’s connection to Ethan’s family. And, Nathan has provided an opportunity for fans to do just that.
While most Welcome To Plathville fans agree Nathan made a huge mistake. He is just 19 and reportedly lived a pretty sheltered childhood. So, fans were grateful nothing serious happened. Fans were also grateful Ethan and Olivia were there to help Nathan with the aftermath of his actions.
New episodes of Welcome To Plathville Season 5 air each week only on TLC. After the episodes air, they can also be streamed via HBO’s streaming service called MAX.
