Michael is a big football fan. He played for the New York Giants from 1993 through 2007. Then, in 2014, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

With the college football season underway, Michael is hard at work. In addition to hosting GMA, he is a part of Big Noon Kickoff on Fox on Saturdays. While there’s a new season happening now, this isn’t a new career move for the TV personality and former NFL player. He’s been providing commentary and analysis for years, keeping his passion for football alive. And fortunately, he’s been doing it while maintaining his Good Morning America gig, so he will likely continue to do both this season.
In an Instagram post, Michael shared clips of himself covering college football. Also in the video is footage from the games. He wrote, “You know who I’m rooting for today. Let’s go @deionsanders and @cubuffsfootball! #WeHere @smacentertainment @bnkonfox.”
