Savannah Chrisley’s new boyfriend, Robert Shiver, has been all over the headlines as of late. And, it isn’t just because he is dating Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter. He was making headlines before that relationship went public because his ex-wife reportedly tried to hire a hit man to kill him.

Two weeks ago, a video on YouTube shared new body cam footage that featured both Robert Shiver’s ex-wife and his mother. While this video is a few weeks old, news of Robert’s relationship with Savannah has caused people to go looking for details on this story once again.

This body cam footage features two points of view telling two different versions of the same story to the police. Surprisingly, the footage also reveals both Robert’s mother and his ex-wife claiming they called the police for assistance.

Savannah Chrisley’s Man’s Ex-Wife: New Body Cam Footage

In one clip of footage from the body cams, viewers can see Robert’s mother inside a car as she speaks to police. She describes her son’s ex-wife as unhinged. She claims Lindsay Shiver has a drug problem. And, she has mental health issues. Robert’s mother alleges that she is a “nervous wreck” because Lindsay has been following them. Likewise, she claims Lindsay has threatened to hurt her as well as her son.

In a separate clip, Lindsay is standing outside while speaking to the police. Toward the beginning of the clip, she makes it clear she has her attorney on the phone. She adds that her attorney has been on the phone the entire time. The police admit they were a bit baffled to hear Lindsay say she had called them. They were under the impression it was Robert’s mother who called as she was claiming Lindsay was following them.

Lindsay explained she had been watching them. This, however, was only because she needed to know where the kids were when she called the police for help. Throughout the entire video, Lindsay remains calm and collected as she speaks to the police. She doesn’t give off any vibes that she’s on any type of drugs or struggling with a mental disorder.

Is Robert Shiver’s Mother Lying?

Now, Chrisley Knows Best fans are just watching this footage for the first time. They aren’t sure if the mother-in-law is telling the truth. Or, if she’s lying to help her son. Likewise, there is a question of whether Robert’s ex-wife is telling the truth or if she’s just very good at manipulation. On Reddit, some fans admit they feel bad for Savannah Chrisley’s boyfriend’s ex-wife. They feel like this is a woman fighting a rich and powerful family for their children.

Fans, however, also now see the appeal in Robert for Savannah. And, they suspect it is largely because his family is rich and powerful. On Reddit, fans suspect Todd Chrisley would be proud of the man his daughter has landed.
