Jill Duggar Dillard‘s newly shared picture has fans calling TLC’s action “grotesque.” In her new memoir, Counting the Cost, Jill shared several never-before-seen photos of her family. One snap, in particular, has caught fans’ attention for all of the wrong reasons. They are now disturbed and sharing their fears for the Duggar children, especially the girls. In her book, Jill shared many details about what life was like while filming her family’s two TLC shows. She opened up about the crew taking her family to the grocery store and them being allowed to pick out anything they wanted with no budget. She also mentioned that the crew became like their family.

She shared a snap from the room she shared with her sisters and seven crew members were there with their cameras, microphones, and other equipment.

Fans call TLC’s actions ‘grotesque.’

On Reddit, fans reposted this picture from Jill Duggar Dillard’s book, and now they are discussing it. Many are calling out the double standard of Jim Bob and Michelle not allowing their kids to be alone with someone of the opposite gender. But the parents let seven adult men into their daughters’ room for filming purposes. Fans can’t get over how “creepy” and “uncomfortable” this might have been.

Some also have issues with the girls’ lack of privacy. Perhaps they should have only been filmed in common areas in their home rather than in their bedrooms, where they should have privacy.

One fan said, “It’s such grotesque and massive exploitation.” Another added, “7 grown men filming in the bedroom of teenage girls is really gross. TLC has a lot to answer to.”

Someone else said this picture made them “queasy” and noted, “TLC is beyond disgusting.”

Yet another chimed in, “I was completely horrified looking at it. I cannot imagine allowing 7 grown men in my child’s bedroom.”

As we reported, many fans are rethinking their decisions to watch and support reality TV, especially TLC, after reading Jill’s book. Some think that her book may be responsible for bringing TLC down in the future.
