On her Instagram Stories this week, Alyssa had a Q&A session with fans. Interestingly, the topic of the Bringing Up Bates subreddit popped up and she addressed it. One fan asked her if she had ever checked out the Reddit posts and encouraged her not to start if she hadn’t yet.
In response, Alyssa explained that she has “read in the past.”
In her post, she explained that she doesn’t mind some of the criticism about herself and knows that she could improve in some ways. The hate she receives personally doesn’t affect her. However, she feels differently when there are posts about her kids and husband. The negative comments fans make about her children upset her much more.
On Reddit, fans are talking about Alyssa’s admission, and many are surprised to see she addressed this. One fan applauded her and said, “This is why I enjoy Alyssa’s Q&A more than her siblings. She will answer more interesting questions and she doesn’t play safe with her answers.”
Which other Bringing Up Bates star reads the critical posts?
Eagle-eyed fans previously spotted the Reddit page in Carlin Bates Stewart’s recent history on her phone’s search engine. She meant to show her followers something else, but Reddit flashed on the screen for a split second, and it was clear to see she had been lurking on the page about her family.
However, it doesn’t look like she ever addressed it. And so far, no other family members have spoken out about the subreddit.
