‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Gets Standing Ovation
The View host Whoopi Goldberg is getting a standing ovation from her loyal fans. It looks like everyone was thrilled to be celebrating the special lady. What did the actress do to get so much love and praise? Keep reading to find out how Whoopi managed to bring everyone to their feet.

As we reported, the ABC talk show returned from a brief hiatus on Tuesday, September 5. However, at the start of the new season, fans noticed that Whoopi wasn’t present. Her co-host Joy Behar temporarily took over her role as moderator. Joy also explained to viewers that Whoopi was sick with Covid and would be out for a few days. Ana Navarro also helped fill in for the week.
Fortunately, Joy made it clear that Whoopi would be just fine and was already recovering. So, fans can rest assured that she’s not seriously ill. She simply can’t appear on the show and potentially get her co-stars, crew, and guests sick too.

Fortunately, fans were in for a treat on Monday morning. On Monday, September 11, Whoopi returned to the stage. This was her first appearance in the new season, so she had to adjust to the revamped set. She noted that she had to get used to the new seats.
When Whoopi walked out on stage, she was greeted by many loud cheers and a minute-long standing ovation. It looks like viewers missed her as much as she missed being a part of the action. After the crowd quieted down, Whoopi was finally able to say, “I missed you too.” She couldn’t say much during their introduction due to all of the excitement.

After Whoopi made her return to The View, fans took to social media to welcome her back as well. She received many well wishes while she was gone. And now, they are going all out and celebrating her return to the show.
Hopefully, Whoopi and her co-hosts manage to stay healthy and don’t have to step away from the show any time soon. With Covid and other illnesses circulating, it’s possible they could be sick again sometime this fall and winter. For now, the hosts and fans are all celebrating having a healthy team again.
