Read on for more details.
Fans Livid Kody & Robyn Brown’s Daughter, 7, Still Uses Pacifier
Kody and Robyn Brown caused a lot of fan anger during the latest episode of Sister Wives. However, the most controversial moment was seeing their youngest child, Ariella, with a pacifier. This has long been an issue for fans who have questioned why she always has one in her mouth. At this point, Ari has already started kindergarten, she is in school like her siblings, so it seems like it might be time to ditch this accessory. According to Healthline: “Stopping pacifier use before 2 to 4 years is usually suggested.” Additionally, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry believes in weaning by age 3.
So, Ariella is clearly behind on this and fans have a legitimate right to be upset. They took to Twitter to express their frustration, essentially a reflection of Kody and Robyn Brown’s parenting.
Why does Robyn and Kody’s SEVEN YEAR OLD daughter have a PACIFER in her mouth? Don’t worry about the damn mini bikes, worry about her binkie. #SisterWivesTLC #SisterWives pic.twitter.com/6nUCWL6s6Y

Poor girl has a lisp, I’m sure the extremely prolonged use of a pacifer contributed to that.

Again, she was about to turn six when these episodes were filmed but, per the stats listed above, still beyond the appropriate time for a pacifier. Yet, Twitter was not the only forum to discuss the pacifier situation. In a Sister Wives fan group, it was a heavily debated topic. One person felt that Robyn Brown was simply too lazy to take the pacifier away from Ariella. Others wondered if the tot possibly has sensory issues but then felt there were other ways to work with her.
It Won’t Stop
The chatter and criticism of the pacifier probably won’t stop anytime soon, especially the more airtime that the kids get. Plus, Kody Brown has made it clear that he and most of his other children are not in a good place right now. Therefore, fans will continue to feel frustrated by him and Robyn Brown, and the way that they place their five kids above all the others. At Christmas, all five children received motorbikes to ride on Coyote Pass. However, when Ysabel and Truely came by, it did not seem they got the same treatment which also became a hot topic.
Do you think Kody and Robyn are doing a severe disservice to Ariella by enabling her pacifier use? Let us know and watch Sister Wives Sundays on TLC.

By allowing her to still have a pacifier they are causing tooth issues and pretty soon she’s going to start being bullied by her classmates. Robyn needs to stop her crying long enough to take that pacifier from her kid and be a mother. It’s just absolutely disgusting and neglectful.
I feel pretty sure Ariella received a doll baby with pacifier for Christmas. and as every other little girl playing with a doll she probably put the pacifier in her mouth.
Some children who do not even use a pacifier have a speech impediment. Ariella’s teeth and speech are going to be fine.
Last night wasn’t the first time they have shown her with the pacifier. She’s been seen quite a bit with it.
Please take that pacifier away!! It won’t be easy at this stage of the game, but it needs to be done. It ruins the spacing of the teeth, making braces necessary. Kids are cruel to each other, if a classmate sees it she’ll be tormented.
