Love After Lockup star Asonta Gholston’s obituary has been revealed. Sadly, he is leaving behind many people who loved and adored him no matter what he went through. So, what did it say to honor the late reality star? Read on for all of the important details of Asonta’s life.

Viewers first met Asonta Gholston on Love During Lockup as he was dating Raneka. She had her own vending company and was a rapper trying to make a name for herself. Additionally, she was raising two daughters but fell in love with Asonta who was locked up in Georgia. Therefore, she opted to pack up her life and relocate to where he was imprisoned and start over. Unfortunately, it seems that Asonta may have another woman on the side. Their story will continue on Love After Lockup beginning Friday, September 15th.
Sadly, the week before the finale, Asonta passed away but fans did not get to see the best side of him. He leaves behind two sons and an unborn baby. A woman is currently expecting his child and is brokenhearted that her son has come into the world without a father. As for Raneka, she had been apart from Asonta for some time now which should play out on Love After Lockup. According to Starcasm, Asonta’s actual obituary has been revealed and he was truly someone people loved and admired. As aforementioned, he leaves behind two sons, Janareon and Kewonta Riley, plus his unborn baby, who was not mentioned.
Asonta was born on July 9, 1990, and was predeceased by his grandma, Shirley, as well as an adoptive mother, Katherine. Along with his sons, he has left behind his mother, Lynshanda, and his father, Wade as well as eight brothers. Additionally, Asonta has three sisters, a grandmother, and a grandfather. Finally, there was mention of a very “special” friend, Misty which is interesting as the name is his current partner was Alexis. The funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 10th followed by his burial.

In the season finale of Love During Lockup, viewers struggled because they knew Asonta had passed away. However, he had done such shady stuff yet they tried to be polite.

As for how he will be portrayed on Love After Lockup or if it will be edited to make him look better is yet to be seen. In any case, this is a devastating tragedy and hopefully, his family finds comfort in each other.
