Who Raised Angie, The Half-Sister Of Whitney Way Thore?
My Big Fat Fabulous Life teasers revealed that Whitney Way Thore has a half-sister and her name is Angie Vincent Burdette, but who raised her? Glenn told his kids that he fathered a child in the 60s before the military transferred him to Asia. He lost contact with Jackie, the mom of his daughter, and the two families only recently hooked up. There were theories about who actually raised Angie, but they might need some debunking.
MBFFL Whitney Way Thore Discovers A Secret Extended Family?
When the news arrived that there was a secret sister, many TLC fans thought that it was simply a ruse by TLC to extend the show. After all, Babs had passed away, her daughter was still single, and she does very little dancing in he life these days. Various theories arrived via influencers and alleged family insiders. If you don’t know, some people suggested that Angie was actually raised by Glenn’s sister, Kim.
If the aunt of Whitney Way Thore had indeed raised Angie, then it seemed likely that she knew about her sister years ago. After all, Angie’s alive and well. So, that just gave critics one more finger to point with and claim fakery. Another theory that drove the allegations of fakery came because leaks suggested there was a brother, not a sister. However, if one exists he might be the son of a woman whom Glenn met in Japan, named Keiko.
Angie Was Not Raised By The Aunt Of Whitney Way Thore?
As the episodes for Season 11 of My Big Fat Fabulous Life come along, social media posts revealed that Whitney has a niece named Jaimie Daughdrill. Jaime seems to be thrilled that her brother Cody helped to track down Glenn using genealogy DNA testing. Angie’s family seems to be very active on social media and now it seems that it is a genuine storyline. Whitney also shared photos and she attended her niece’s engagement party. Now it seems that Glenn’s daughter, Angie was not raised by his sister, Kim.
Some MBFFL fans grew very concerned with all the theories, so they took to Reddit to discuss everything. Unfortunately, while confusion reigns, Whitney Way Thore takes a lot of heat from critics. With more information coming in, it seems that more facts emerge. If you don’t know, Angie was with Jimmy Daughdrill but is now married to Frank Burdett. She works in Irvington, Alabama as a bartender. Apparently, Her original maiden name was Vincent.
MBFFL Debunking Who Raised Angie Vincent
Whitney Way Thore’s half-sister being raised by Kim Thore seems to have been misinterpreted by a social media influencer. Speaking about it on the r/MyBigFatFabulouLife subreddit, u/fyrdancr shared a photo of Angis’s father. And, his surname “is Dollison.” So, the poster explained, “While Angie’s birth mom may have lived with Kim, Angie was adopted out at three months to this couple in the pic.” Therefore, they reasoned, she “… was NOT adopted/raised by Glenn’s sister.” If Angie’s adoption happened at the age of “3 months,” obviously, she wouldn’t recall that time in her life.
Unfortunately, it seems that Jackie passed away, as mentioned by Jaime, so nobody can clarify with Angie’s mom how long she stayed with Kim after the birth of her baby. Other posts also show the family talking about Grandpa Dollison.
