Todd and Julie Chrisley are both serving long prison sentences. The reality TV show couple from Chrisley Knows Best are serving a combined 19-year sentence on tax and fraud convictions. However, it looks like they won’t have to serve their full sentences. This is good news for Todd and Julie and their fans.

Here is what changed with the couple’s prison sentence.

Todd and Julie Chrisley have release dates moved up

Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to a combined 19 years after a court found them guilty of tax evasion and fraud. However, the release date has been moved up somehow and the couple will both serve less time than expected. The Chrisley Knows Best stars received their sentence in an Atlanta federal court in November 2022. Their crimes were reportedly for defrauding banks of more than $30 million. They allegedly provided fake financial statements making it look like they had more wealth than they really did.

The prosecutors said they used these loans to buy expensive cars, take big vacations, and live a lifestyle they didn’t have the money for. In the meantime, they hid their money from the IRS so they didn’t have to pay taxes. The sentencing was 12 years for Todd and Julie received seven years. They reported to prison in January 2023.

This means Todd Chrisley would remain behind bars until 2034 and Julie until 2030. However, their release dates are not in those years. Based on information provided by the Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmake Tracker system, Todd (register number 72600-019) has a release date of January 22, 2033. Julie (register number 72601-019) has a release date of October 19, 2028. This means Todd gets out two years earlier than expected and Julie goes home after just five and a half years served.

There is also a chance that the Chrisley Knows Best couple gets out even sooner if they remain model prisoners and get time reduced for good behavior. Federal inmates can receive 54 days a year of good conduct time. They can also get time taken off for completing certain programs while in prison.

Todd and Julie Chrisley still appealing the conviction

While the early releases are great news, Todd and Julie Chrisley are still appealing their original court decision. The couple still proclaims their innocence. Their attorney has also stated that their constitutional rights were violated and they didn’t receive a fair trial.

Their attorney also said that their living conditions in prison are terrible, with both living in 100-degree temperatures in prisons that are not following the law regarding safe living conditions. Savannah Chrisley has also commented on this and she said Julie is having a harder time behind bars than her dad.

  1. It’s NOT like they’re walking out Tomarrow, or next week, Savannah Hunny! Calculated “good time” is an ESTIMATE coming off the back end. (an option not even offered in the Federal system) They’re still in there for many years to come Dearie, and lots of things can manipulate that estimate!

      1. They should have never been convicted for that many years. I don’t believe they had a fair trial. they both are parents of minors as well and they both got sent away which is absolutely horrible

        .

    1. They need to be out now they didn’t kill anyone, or even hurt anybody… just some jealous assholes with a vendetta against them….

    2. You can get early release. President Trump signed the First Step Act while he was in office and it is for getting out early on a felony charge as long as it is not a violent charge.

      1. Their sentence is totally ridiculous! Killers, rapists, and child predators serve less time! Hunter owes the IRS more than all of us combined. They are supposedly guilty of lying to the bank, community service would suffice!

        1. I agree. This is a crazy sentence. Did they make a mistake? Yes, but this is overblown. They are trying to make an example out of them. I think it’s so sad for the younger kids.

  2. Let them go with time served, your example has been proven. Everyone know you can go to jail for fraud but judge you was a jackass for this case. You was showing that judges are also assholes. Reduce their sentences and let them free.

  3. Wow they were found guilty but didn’t do it. They act like they are better than everyone else but you all continue kissing their butts. Oh no they didn’t do it blah blah blah blah blah blah. The evidence is there for you to see. If they had killed someone on video you’d swear they were innocent. It’s about time they did some real work and got their little manicured hands dirty.

  4. Please correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Joe and Teresa Giudice (Real Housewives of OC) both pleaded guilty to multiple charges of fraud in 2014 and were given consecutive sentences, with the mother of four — who was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison — but was released early in December that same year, and her husband serve only 41 months at separate times!? Wasn’t this for the same thing AS the Chrisleys?
They are raising their granddaughter right? So why is it that #1 they couldn’t serve Separate sentences as well & #2 I agree with so many others! They didn’t touch a child or kill anyone. So why the harsh punishment??

  5. No they shouldn’t be released early, they got served their sentences that the judge found them guilty for years for what they did. People think because they are people of faith they can do no wrong, but those are the worst kind to do wrong. They knew what they were doing. They got caught, that’s the problem. Everyone is turning a blind eye to what they did. Other celebrities have gone to prison and did their time for what they did. Why can’t they do it too?? Cause they capture the hearts of people with their fake life. Read between the lines people, pull the wool off your eyes, these people are not doing anything for you why should you care if they get out earlier?

  6. our justice system is so bias this couple did the same thing Hunter Biden is doing not paying taxes what does Hunter get a sex craved drug addict thats what bothers me
