‘Teen Mom’ Ryan Edwards’ Questionable New Romance
Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards appears to be involved in a questionable new romance. He is on his way to a divorce from Mackenzie Edwards while rebuilding his life. Yet, it seems that he may have found a partner that won’t help his recovery much. So, who is she and where did they hook up? Read on for more details.
Teen Mom Ryan Edwards’ Questionable New Romance
This year has been a mess for Ryan Edwards. As he was back on the Teen Mom scene and reconciling with his son, the other part of his life was falling apart. He and his wife, Mackenzie Edwards were getting ready to part ways while he was getting in immense amounts of legal trouble. Soon enough, Edwards found himself behind bars. Unfortunately, the prison was filled with horrific stories from former inmates, some of whom saw a disastrous fate. He was supposed to spend nearly a year there but ended up getting out early. The father of three was sent to a rehab facility instead and then to a halfway home.
He is trying to make a better life after what he went through and seems to have found a new love. However, it looks like Ryan Edwards’ girlfriend has a story just as offputting as his. According to The Sun, he has been dating Amanda Conner who is a single mom. Where did they meet? Rehab. As it turns out, they can still get together as the rehab and halfway house are on the same property. Apparently, he did share a photo of the two of them on his bike but has since erased it.
Per an insider: “They met and started seeing each other at rehab. He doesn’t take anyone on his bike unless it’s a thing. No friends [are allowed]. Choosing to use your time on and the type of people you’re surrounding yourself with is not okay. This girl is dangerous.” Though Ryan may be happy right now, Amanda has quite an interesting backstory. She started getting arrested in 2009 for theft and possessing a controlled substance. Additionally, she has a DUI and has been behind bars for nearly a year.
Not A Good Idea
Teen Mom fans who have followed Ryan Edwards since 16 & Pregnant had a lot to say on the situation. They headed over to Reddit to express their thoughts. Of course, they felt his parents would not be happy with him dating Amanda but probably would blame his ex, Maci in the end. Another added: “Well she looks like the epitome of an upstanding citizen…” Fans were happy that he and Mackenzie stayed apart but felt he needed to work on himself alone.

When your in recovery your sponsor even suggests you not start a new relationship with anyone for at least 6 months to a year and focus on just yourself and your sobriety. So NO I do not think this girl is good for Ryan. She is an addict herself, Ryan is newly sober and has allot of healing to do. He needs to focus on himself then his children then he can worry about getting into a healthy relationship with a partner.
