Jane Kilcher Calls Out Body-Shamers And Trolls Who Call Her ‘Unattractive’
Although Jane Kilcher is a tough Alaskan woman, who can survive in the harshest of conditions, she has a bigger battle that seems to frustrate her. She has to battle toxic online trolls.
On Friday, the star of both Alaska: The Last Frontier, as well as Bering Sea Gold, went to Facebook to call out those body-shamers and trolls who call her “unattractive.” In this post, Jane Kilcher addresses her divorce from Atz Lee, as well as getting Covid. Most of all, she points out how sexist it is that she is getting body shamed, but not the men in the series.
I am astonished how I get body shamed or told I am unattractive. Mostly by people that have no right to talk. Have I gained weight from covid and a divorce-ya [I] did- not for long! I am 5’8 and 135 lbs and a size 6. I have never been over a size 8.
And if you don’t think I am attractive why I am the only one getting trolled about it? Do you comment on any of the men not being attractive???? It is disgusting and sad the comments I get for walking up early every day and doing my best.
This obviously upset the reality star for her to talk about her height and weight specifics. Moreover, this is not the first time she has called out the body-shamer trolls.
Alaska: The Last Frontier Star Kept Family Away From Cameras Due To Trolls
Unfortunately, Jane Kilcher has had to deal with the same body-shaming trolls four years ago as well. At that time, she revealed that as they allowed the Discovery cameras to film them living their difficult, yet amazing lives, they have been subject to a lot of lies and speculation.
This led to her daughter Piper not being in front of the camera, or her mother. Jane has stated that they were always near her, but away from the cameras. She wanted to shield them from the social media public scrutiny.
Jane Kilcher Seemed To Reveal That Her Divorce Has Already Happened
Back in July, Jane Kilcher revealed that Atz Lee, her husband of nearly two decades, was divorcing her. In this new post, it seems that the Alaska: The Last Frontier couple is now officially divorced. She even shared that she gained weight due to the divorce, but has already lost it. It is not like Jane is sitting around doing nothing. All the Kilchers are working hard all year. They need to so they can survive and thrive.
However, she has not revealed whether there will be a Season 12, and if she will be in that season. Or, for that matter, whether they will open their lives up to more trolls with more information on that divorce.
She is currently on Bering Sea Gold on Tuesday nights on Discovery.

You are a beautiful woman, mother. I’m ashamed that Atz Lee let you go without a fight, but it’s his loss, he will be hard pressed to find someone as good as you.
