This week, Sunny took to Instagram to share her heartbreaking life update. She shared several photos of her family dropping off her son, Gabriel, at college. He decorated his room and gave his parents, Sunny and Manny, goodbye hugs. In her post, the emotional mama wrote, “Junior Year move in day for Gabriel. I cannot believe it’s still so hard to drive away. Have a great year sweetheart. Sigh. ❤️”

Of course, Sunny is getting lots of love and support via Instagram. Her fans are offering comforting words and encouraging Gabriel as he kicks off a new school year. Many of her followers can relate and know just how heartbreaking it is to drop kids off at college. Just like Sunny, her fans are in shock that Gabriel is already in his junior year.
In a comment, GMA host Deborah Roberts said, “You’re gonna continue to be great Gabriel!” Deborah and her husband, Al Roker, recently sent their son, Nicholas, back to college too. So, they know where Sunny is coming from.
Hopefully, Gabriel will have another wonderful year in college! Fans hope this transition goes smoothly for both him and his heartbroken mama, Sunny. Maybe she will share another update very soon as he gets settled into a routine.
