‘The Kardashians’ Clarify Lack Of Online Support For Kourtney Kardashian

While the past week has been a scary time for Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, where’s the support been? Kourtney was hospitalized during a health emergency related to the pregnancy. Reportedly, there is backlash for Kris Jenner not offering a statement about the hospitalization. Concurrently, Kim Kardashian is also being called out for being “gross” for keeping up business as usual during the frightening procedure. Partially because fans were left in the dark and also since they only received small bits of information, it was easy for them to cross into attack mode on the family. Understandably, fans have been very concerned about Kourtney Kardashian and the baby.

Finding Time For A Family Emergency

Kourtney Kardashian’s life was turned upside down in a matter of minutes. She expressed, “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”

Travis Barker is on a leave of absence from the tour due to “an urgent family matter.” Unsurprisingly, he left everything and got to Kourtney Kardashian’s side as quickly as he could. At the time he did not specify a time of return but has since announced he will rejoin the tour on September 8, 2023. There is never a good time for an emergency, but they have shown their priorities are straight.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Barker said, “God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well. I want to say thank you for all the support.” Furthermore, he left his daughter Alabama a sweet message on a Post-it, “You are my everything, Dad.”

Why Haven’t People Been Seeing The Kardashians’ Support?

Seemingly, there was a long pause, as worried fans waited to hear updates about Kourtney Kardashian’s hospitalization. In many ways, they felt deserted by the family and a bit betrayed by the lack of communication. Meanwhile, they were seeing some things just continue like normal through such a terrifying time.

But, behind the scenes, Kourtney Kardashian is receiving nothing but support from her family. “The Kardashians are used to putting most of their lives out there in the public eye. However, there are certain times when things are far more personal such as this situation,” a source exclusively relays to Us Weekly. “Kourtney’s entire family has been around her and Travis, supporting them in every way they can.”

Notably, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and other members of the family don’t believe they need to show their support on social media during family emergencies. By comparison, they know it is more important for them to show up in person. Overall, “They’re so grateful she’s OK and that she has an amazing husband who hasn’t left her side.”

Everyone is happy to hear Kourtney Kardashian and the baby are both doing okay. Likewise, it is comforting to know her family has surrounded her and provided support privately.
