Jill Dillard has been an exciting journey.
If you follow Jill on social media, you may have seen how she’s evolved over the past several years. She’s stepped away from her parents’ strict religion, the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP). She’s opened up about her journey in the Amazon Prime Video docuseries, Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets.
And her tell-all book, Counting the Cost, hits shelves on September 12. It details her experience on her family’s TLC show and offers a glimpse into her personal journey.
While on her personal journey, Jill Dillard has changed her physical appearance too. She’s stopped dressing so modestly, pierced her nose, and colored her hair. Now, she has freshened up her look once again and is eager to show it off. What did she do this time?
The Duggar daughter debuts her shocking transformation.
On her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Jill shared a selfie as she sat in the car, tagging her hairstylist and saying she was on her way. In the snap, her roots had grown out, so her natural brunette color was visible.
Then, a few hours later, she shared a couple of photos of her newly refreshed hair. It’s a warm blonde color now. It looks very shiny and luscious in the photos, and her stylist added soft waves.
In the photos, Jill Dillard was all smiles as she showed it off to fans. In her captions, she thanked her hairstylist for the wonderful cut and color, as well as a cup of coffee. Then, the Duggar daughter added that she got “spoiled” and that she’s “feeling so refreshed.”

It looks like Jill is loving her refreshed hair. She looks especially happy and confident in the after photos. Maybe she will share more pictures of her new look soon.
Because these photos are on her Instagram Stories, fans can message her their thoughts directly but can’t publicly comment. It’s safe to assume Jill is getting lots of compliments on her gorgeous blonde locks.
