‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Season 5 Potential Storyline Revealed
According to rumors, 1000-Lb Sisters Season 5 is indeed happening.
When the series first premiered, it primarily centered around sisters Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman as they prepared to qualify for bariatric surgery. Over the course of four seasons, viewers fell in love with their entire family and hilarious personalities.
Now that both Tammy and Amy received bariatric surgery, some fans speculated the show may come to a natural end. But according to insiders, there are many more stories to tell about the family.
See what they had to say.
1000-Lb Sisters fans look forward to new episodes
Most 1000-Lb Sisters fans already knew there would be more episodes. Beachgoers spotted the family and film crews on the beaches of Florida earlier in the summer. Later, Tammy uploaded and later deleted a TikTok revealing that there would be new episodes this December.
But the December episodes are supposedly a continuation of Season 4. But what about the possibility of a fifth season?
According to insiders, Season 5 is still going to happen. Tammy Slaton has made remarkable progress with her weight loss journey, but it’s far from over.
“The season will be about Tammy’s upcoming skin removal surgery,” a source reportedly told The Sun. The TLC star received bariatric surgery at the end of the previous season. Since then, she’s apparently been working incredibly hard to meet her next set of goals.
Tammy frequently posts photos on social media documenting her physical transformation. Fans knew that skin surgery was on her list of goals. But as her medical team advised, she would have to lose more weight first.
With all the progress she’s made over the past few years, Tammy Slaton proved she can do anything she sets her mind to.
New episodes could be on TLC before the end of the year
As TV Shows Ace previously shared, Tammy confirmed that filming already wrapped on 1000-Lb Sisters Season 4 part B. In other words, it seems like TLC is on track to have Season 4 out this December. It’s possible the network forced Tammy to delete the TikTok where she revealed the big premiere date.
As for Season 4 part B, it’s shaping up to be quite a difficult season. Fans already know that Tammy’s husband Caleb Willingham passed away earlier this year. The new episodes are expected to tackle his funeral.
Tammy was reportedly unhappy with the way TLC filmed the funeral. Fans will have to stay tuned to see if they agree with her assessment or not.
