Hallmark is kicking off its Fall Into Love movie programming with Love In The Great Smoky Mountains: A National Parks Romance. Where was this movie filmed? According to Knox News, this movie was filmed in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In addition, it was filmed in Fall Creek Falls State Park. Lastly, this new romcom was also filmed in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The publication also revealed some more location details. One beautiful spot they filmed in was at Abrams Falls. This is located in Cades Cove. Viewers can see this beautiful spot in the Hallmark Sneak Peek Video. However, don’t do what Arielle Kebbel and Zach Roerig did!
According to the official website, the basin below the falls is very dangerous to swimmers. There is a strong current and undertow. Therefore, they advise against swimming!
Another specific spot that they filmed was at the Smoky Mountains hiking trail Cherokee Caverns. This a historic cave area that allows for visitors.
Besides downtown Knoxville, they also filled at “The Dragon.” This is a stretch of Highway 129 that has many sports cars and motorcycles traversing. This is a local hotspot.
