Whoopi Goldberg’s Grandchildren Support Her New Career Deal
Despite making a controversial decision with her new career venture, Whoopi Goldberg’s daughter Alex Martin and her grandchildren Amara, Mason, and Jerzey are in her corner to support her. What is this controversial new career venture exactly? And, how are her grandchildren supporting her? Keep reading for the details.
What Is Her New Career Venture?
Earlier this month, Whoopi Goldberg of The View was interviewed by Cannabis Cactus. The interview was regarding her decision to dip her toes in the cannabis industry. Turns out, she was gearing up to launch a recreational brand called Emma & Clyde. She affectionately named the brand after her late brother and mother. Presently, her brand is slated to launch sometime this fall.
Whoopi Goldberg shared during the interview: “Emma & Clyde will be a more recreational line of products. The name is an homage to my mother and brother who also liked a little bit of cannabis every now and then.”
Now, this isn’t actually Whoopi Goldberg’s first time jumping into the cannabis industry. In 2019, she launched a company called Whoopi & Maya. Unfortunately, the company folded a year later.
A lot has changed in the past few years with the way the world views cannabis. So, those supporting Whoopi are hopeful this business venture will turn out differently than the last one.
Whoopi Goldberg’s Grandchildren Support New Venture
According to The Sun, Whoopi Goldberg’s daughter took her children to a Celebrity Golf Tournament yesterday. The View host was not there, but her grandchildren did what they could to make it known they supported her new venture.
Turns out the Cannabis Cactus magazine cover was one of the media partners at the event. And, the cover just happened to be Whoopi Goldberg.
Amara excitedly took photos of herself and her siblings around the cover in support of Grandma Whoopi. And, she shared them on her Instagram Stories.

After posing for pictures Amara, Mason, and Jerzey all hit the dance floor to have a good time. In Whoopi’s honor, Mason even got on stage and started rapping for everyone. Turns out, Mason was even wearing a t-shirt with his grandmother’s face on it to the event.
Admittedly, fans of Whoopi Goldberg have mixed feelings about her daughter and grandchildren being so supportive of cannabis-related business venture. Moreover, many wonder why Whoopi Goldberg did not attend the event herself. The View is currently on a break, so many argue there is no real reason why she couldn’t have been there.
Does it surprise you that Whoopi Goldberg did not attend the event with her daughter and her grandchildren? How do you feel about their support of her new venture? More importantly, what do you think about her new venture? Share your thoughts in the comments. And, keep coming back for more TV news.
